Pennsylvania just scored big in Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travelers’ Choice Awards, three of its parks made the national top 20. Knoebels came in at an impressive 3 overall, praised for being the largest free-admission amusement park in the U.S. It’s got coasters, classic charm, and a vibe that’s hard to beat. Splash Lagoon in Erie grabbed 15 for its tropical indoor fun (great year-round), and Hersheypark sweetened the list at 18 with its historic rides and signature chocolatey theme.
I’ve been to all three, and each has its own thing going. Knoebels especially has that nostalgic, community-run feel that modern parks often lack. Surprised to see these beat out some bigger names! What’s your go-to park for family fun or thrill rides?
