Stayed at the brand new Kimpton Era in Midtown and overall it’s a really good spot.
Location is great, right near 30 Rock with subway access right there. Got a corner room and it was super nice, plus they actually recognized status with drinks + chocolate which was a nice touch.
Hotel itself is clean, gym is huge, staff mostly very friendly. A few weird things though… like being handed a martini in a paper cup to take upstairs, and some small “just opened” issues like dust and inconsistent restocking.
Nothing major, just a bit rough around the edges.
Still, easily one of the better Kimpton stays I’ve had.
