I finally caved and got the Capital One Venture X card earlier this year, mainly for the Priority Pass lounge access and wow, it has seriously upgraded my airport game. Used it recently flying out of JFK and had access to both the Priority Pass lounge and the Capital One Lounge. Free food, decent wine, clean bathrooms, and reliable Wi-Fi made the long layover actually enjoyable.
What really sold me was that I could bring two guests for free, and adding authorized users for now costs nothing. My partner used it on a solo trip and got the same perks. We’re definitely getting our money’s worth with the $300 travel credit and anniversary miles, which pretty much offset the $395 annual fee. Curious if anyone has tried the Citi Strata Elite worth the higher fee for those AA Admirals Club passes?
