Just saw someone try to seat jump on a half empty Southwest flight

On a Southwest flight right now, about half full, and a lady sat herself in the exit row.

FA asked about it and she said something like “isn’t this Southwest?” but they told her she still had to sit in the row she paid for. Not necessarily the exact seat, but at least the correct row.

She did not argue much, but we are already taxiing and she still has not moved.

They made announcements at the gate and again onboard that you have to sit in your assigned seat now, so I think she knew what she was doing and just tried her luck.

Kind of funny to watch, especially since the plane is half empty.
