Tried a bunch of new camping hacks on my recent trip and I was surprised by how many came from Reddit. The frozen water bottles as ice packs were a total win kept things cold and gave me fresh drinking water later. I also prepped foil packet meals at home and cooked them right on the coals. Super easy cleanup and way better than canned food.
One weird but useful trick? Soap shavings. I used a veggie peeler to make little curls before the trip and just grabbed one whenever I needed to wash my hands. Kept things light and clean.
Anyone else got go-to hacks they swear by? Thinking of trying the acorn whistle next time just for fun.
