The resort itself is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the pools, slides, gym, and food were all good. The property is well maintained and there are plenty of fun things to do.
But there were several frustrating issues. Check in took over an hour even with multiple agents working, and the two rooms we booked ended up far apart despite being promised they would be close together. The “river jump suite” we reserved also wasn’t really what was advertised.
Service had problems too. We waited hours for bedding for the pullout sofa the first night, and housekeeping missed cleaning one of our rooms for several days.
The vacation club presentation was also very aggressive with multiple staff members trying to push the sale even after we repeatedly said no.
The biggest issue was a photo package mistake where we were charged for an extra park we never agreed to. Even after speaking with several staff and managers, they refused to refund the difference.
Overall, the middle of the trip was enjoyable, but the problems at the beginning and end really spoiled the experience and made us decide we wouldn’t return.
