In Finland, middle names aren't commonly used in everyday situations. My credit card doesn't include my middle name, so when booking my flight with Juneyao Airlines, I entered only my first and last names exactly as the website requested.
However, I later received an email from the airline stating that my passport includes a middle name and that I would need to pay a $100 fee to have it added to the reservation.
Since the booking form only asked for "First Name" and "Last Name," I'm unsure how this became an issue. What are my options at this point? Should I simply pay the fee, or is there another way to resolve this?
