JetBlue vs Delta LAX to JFK, economy only

If price, timing, and baggage are the same, it mostly comes down to seat comfort and vibe.

JetBlue usually wins on hard product in economy. More legroom on average, free WiFi that actually works gate to gate, and free snacks. For a 5+ hour flight, that extra space is noticeable. Service is generally casual and friendly, food is basic but fine.

Delta is more consistent operationally. Slightly better track record on delays and disruptions, and crews tend to be very professional. Economy seats are fine but a bit tighter than JetBlue. WiFi isn’t always free unless you’re logged in, but still decent.

If you don’t care about loyalty and just want the most comfortable economy seat for the time in the air, I’d lean JetBlue. If you care more about reliability and a smoother overall operation, Delta is the safer pick.

You really can’t go wrong with either, but for a UK visitor doing a long domestic hop, JetBlue feels a bit more pleasant in the back.
