An email from JetBlue announces a change to its boarding process starting April 29.
The airline is switching to a simplified numbered boarding system (Groups 1–8). Under the new structure:
Mosaic 3 and 4 members, along with Mint passengers, will board in Group 1
Mosaic 1 and 2, plus EvenMore customers, will board in Group 2
Credit card holders, Blue Extra fares, and certain early boarding perks will fall into Group 3
Courtesy boarding will include active military and passengers with strollers or car seats
Group 4 includes JetBlue Vacations customers and general boarding based on seat location
Groups 5–8 will be standard boarding based on seat location
The airline states the goal is to make boarding simpler and more consistent across flights.
