Longtime United Airlines customer here (750K+ lifetime miles), I recently flew JetBlue from LAX to BOS round trip and wanted to share a genuinely positive experience.
The lie-flat seats were comfortable and well-designed for the route, but what stood out most was the crew. Service felt warm, attentive, and genuinely engaged, which made the overall experience noticeably better than expected.
The main drawback was flexibility changes and rebooking options felt more limited compared to what I’m used to. That said, I did reach out to the United 1K line for assistance with a related travel adjustment and they were helpful in resolving it, so no major issues there.
Overall, I still fly United regularly, but this JetBlue experience was a strong reminder that competition in the transcon market is improving the product across the board.
