I can’t believe how expensive flights have become lately. I was looking at round-trip fares from JFK to MCO for travel between 12/18 and 12/28, and even the basic Blue fare is around 900 dollars per person.
I understand that holiday travel is usually more expensive, but this still feels extreme. Even with seasonal demand and higher operating costs, the pricing seems hard to justify.
At these rates, I may have to reconsider my plans altogether since the total cost of the trip including a cruise vacation would become too expensive.
