Have a JAL award booked through Finnair. JAL changed the arrival time into HND from 10am to 5pm, so in the JAL app I was offered a free change.
I picked a 10am arrival into NRT instead so I wouldn’t lose basically a full day. After confirming, I got a message saying I need to contact the booking airline or the ticket could be canceled.
Planning to call Finnair tomorrow, but a bit nervous now. JAL app shows the new 10am NRT flight as ticketed, while the Finnair app still shows the original 5pm routing.
Anything I should watch out for when I call? Is this just a case of Finnair needing to reissue the ticket, or is there a chance it snaps back to the original HND flight if they can’t process it?
First time booking JAL through Finnair, so hoping I didn’t accidentally create a mess.
