Is working 10–12 hours daily for months normal on cruise ships?

I was recently offered a bartender role with Royal Caribbean, and while I expected the job to be demanding, I didn’t anticipate the schedule being this intense.

It looks like the position requires working 10–12 hours every day throughout the entire contract (around 7 months) with no guaranteed days off. That sounds extremely exhausting and hard to sustain.

Is this kind of workload typical for hospitality roles on cruise ships, or is this unusually demanding?
