Is United Airlines operating A321 XLR test flights or is this a listing error?

I was searching for flights from Toronto to San Francisco on Air Canada and noticed an itinerary that routes through Chicago. The Chicago to San Francisco segment was shown as being operated by United using an Airbus A321 XLR.

However, when checking United’s own website, the same flight appears to be listed as an A321 NEO instead. The seat map also matches the standard A321 NEO configuration rather than an XLR layout.

I am trying to understand whether this is an error in Air Canada’s system or if there is any indication that United is testing or operating A321 XLR aircraft on this route.
