Many people describe solo travel as a great experience, but in many cases “solo” seems to mainly refer to the act of traveling alone rather than the entire trip. A lot of solo travelers still meet people and join groups at their destination.
I’m curious how enjoyable fully independent solo travel really is, where everything is done alone without relying on meeting others. Is that type of experience still fulfilling, or does it become isolating over time?
