I boarded my flight and immediately noticed that the aircraft felt different from what I usually see. The cabin looked cleaner, the seats seemed updated, and I noticed power outlets as well. Overall, the plane just felt newer compared to the others I normally fly on.
I use Southwest fairly often, usually every couple of weeks, so the difference stood out right away. The aircraft was a 737 MAX 8.

At first I assumed it might have been a replacement aircraft or one that had arrived from another route. Now I’m curious if this has become the standard setup. I flew this same route around two months ago and do not remember seeing this configuration. I actually prefer this version of the aircraft.
