Is the Las Vegas Strip Pricing Itself Out Compared to Cruises and Regional Casinos?

I’ve been to Vegas a bunch over the years, but lately I can’t help but notice how expensive it’s gotten even when the room is free. Between $12 coffees, resort fees, parking charges, and $20 bottled water, the Strip feels like it’s squeezing every dollar out of visitors. Meanwhile, off-Strip hotels and even cruises seem to offer way more value.

The article I read compared a comped Vegas stay to a comped cruise and honestly, the cruise comes out ahead. Meals, shows, pools, and entertainment are included, while in Vegas you’re constantly paying extra. Gaming revenue on the Strip has actually dropped for four months straight, which makes me wonder if mid-tier gamblers like me are finally saying enough. Have you started looking at alternatives to Vegas, like cruises or regional casinos?
