Flew out of MIA and had a weird experience at the bag drop.
My Samsonite hit exactly 50 lbs on the scale. I was actually proud of that. Gave my wife a high five. Then the agent pulled out a tape measure and checked the dimensions too. It was right at the max.
She basically said if it were any bigger I’d be paying $200.
Maybe it’s just me, but lately it feels like they’re enforcing limits more tightly than before. Almost more ultra low cost style attention to every inch and pound.
Not trying to be dramatic, just genuinely curious if others have noticed them being more by the book recently.
