Had a weird situation at Costco and I’m curious what others think. I had about 15 items and was doing the usual math on which line would move fastest.
I get in line behind a mom and her son, no cart in sight. A couple minutes later, her husband shows up with a massive, overflowing cart and just joins them. Suddenly I’m stuck behind a full cart I never signed up for.
I said something like, “Oh, all of this is yours? Then I’ll switch lines,” and she clearly didn’t care.
Am I wrong for thinking you shouldn’t get in line until your whole group and cart are there? Or is this one of those accepted Costco behaviors that just drives some of us nuts?
