i have an upcoming itinerary from istanbul to hanoi via dubai on flights ek124 and ek394, and i am currently listed on standby with priority 9 and 10 for travel on the 6th.
given recent discussions about disruptions and travel restrictions, i have seen mentions that some standby passengers who are not airline employees may be denied boarding, but i have not found any official confirmation from emirates.
i would like to understand whether emirates is currently allowing non employee standby passengers to board, and if there are any known restrictions or patterns affecting standby travel.
additionally, i used to be able to check flight load information, but it seems that this is no longer available. i am wondering if there are alternative ways to estimate load or standby chances.
