Is CLT really as bad as people say?

I see a ton of hate for CLT on this sub, but I passed through for the first time today and… it was fine?

Flights were on time, my connection was over two hours so no stress, and while I’d read complaints about crowding, it honestly felt less chaotic than places like EWR, YYZ, or AMS. Even the Priority Pass lounge wait was about 30 minutes, which feels pretty normal these days.

Chick-fil-A tasted exactly like Chick-fil-A, the rocking chairs were a nice touch, and the staff I dealt with were friendly.

Did I just get lucky, or is CLT’s reputation a bit overblown compared to some other hubs?
