Just found out Cathay is using facial recognition for boarding at SFO and HKG.
Has anyone gone through it recently? Is it required, or can you opt out and just have your boarding pass scanned the old way like pre-2019?
Curious what the actual process is like at both airports and whether staff give you a choice.
