I am flying direct from London to Tokyo next week and currently have an offer to upgrade to Premium Economy for £527. Business Class is showing around £1,800.
I am trying to decide whether Premium Economy is actually worth the extra cost. From what I have seen, the difference between Economy and Premium Economy on British Airways does not seem huge, so I would appreciate hearing opinions from people who have flown both.
I am also wondering if there is any realistic chance the upgrade price could drop further. It has stayed around the same price for the last 2 to 3 weeks whenever I have checked.
One thing that matters for me is sleep. I am planning to stay awake the night before the flight and will arrive in Tokyo at around 7:00 AM local time, so I am hoping to sleep as much as possible during the flight.
