I have a connecting flight through Istanbul Airport with Turkish Airlines, and my layover is 1 hour and 45 minutes before my onward flight to the United States.
Both flights are booked on the same ticket, but I am unsure if this connection time is sufficient, especially for a long haul international flight to the US.
I would like to know how efficient the process is at Istanbul Airport. Specifically, I am concerned about how long security checks and passport control usually take, and whether there are any additional screening procedures for US bound flights.
