Every year I fly to Las Vegas from November 1st to 7th on the same Delta route, and I have usually paid around $500 round trip for First Class.
This year the pricing looks very different. I am wondering what changed, or if this is just dynamic pricing affecting the fare more heavily than usual. Can anyone confirm if this route is normally this expensive for those dates?
As a comparison, I also checked Alaska Airlines for the same dates and route, and it is showing about $527 for First Class both ways. I have always flown Delta in the past, but I may switch this time since the pricing difference does not seem justified by fuel or basic operating costs.
