Garuda Indonesia is now working closely with the Indonesian National Police after a passenger lost their cellphone on flight GA 716 (Jakarta–Melbourne) on June 6, 2025—apparently it was left by crew at a hotel and later found in a nearby river! They’ve emphasized transparency and legal accountability while coordinating with the passenger and keeping crew on duty released.
