I recently upgraded to business class on SAS for a flight from JFK to Copenhagen, paying about $920 USD. Overall, I found it to be well worth the upgrade.
The cabin experience was very good, with a comfortable seat, attentive crew, and high-quality service throughout the flight. The meal service stood out in particular and exceeded my expectations.
However, the lounge experience at JFK (Air France lounge in Terminal 1) was somewhat underwhelming compared to the flight itself.
Overall, despite the lounge not being great, the in-flight experience made the upgrade worthwhile.
