If Frontier offers you a refund, screenshot it immediately

Canceled a Frontier flight today and the website briefly showed I’d get a refund to my card minus the 10% fee. I was actually happy with that.


Hit cancel and boom, travel credit instead. Only for one leg too, which was odd.


Called customer service and mentioned the site originally said refund. The agent immediately asked if I had a screenshot and said they’ll honor screenshots but won’t do anything without one. Kept pushing me to send a screenshot even after I said I didn’t have it.


Lesson learned. If Frontier ever flashes a refund option, screenshot it right away or assume it never existed.
