I’m planning a first cruise trip to the Bahamas and had a question about ID checks.
My situation: I’m currently waiting for my green card, so I don’t have solid proof of U.S. residency yet. I do have a valid passport from my home country.
Do cruise lines check ID or passports every time you come back onto the ship during port stops, or just the cruise card?
Also, has anyone traveled in a similar situation, any issues when returning to the ship or at the end of the cruise?
Would really appreciate any insights.
