Just to clarify, the aircraft had already landed and completed taxiing before I was invited into the cockpit. No aviation regulations were violated.
I ended up being the only passenger on my flight, which was already a unique experience on its own. To make things even more memorable, Captain Scott went above and beyond to make the trip fun.
After landing, he invited me into the cockpit and even recorded personalized pre-flight announcements for me. It was a hilarious and unexpected experience that made the flight one to remember.
There were also some unusual operational adjustments, including adding sandbags for weight and balance purposes, which added to the novelty of being the sole traveler on board.
