I Took a Solo Babymoon in Switzerland and It Was the Reset I Didn’t Know I Needed

Before our first baby arrives, I took a solo babymoon to Grindelwald, Switzerland and honestly, it was one of the most empowering travel experiences of my life. My husband doesn’t love traveling like I do, so I’ve gone solo before, but doing it pregnant felt different. Peaceful hikes, cowbells echoing through the valleys, spa days, and pushing past my fear of heights made this trip feel like a deep breath before the whirlwind of motherhood.

I even journaled letters to my unborn son and hiked snowy alpine paths that reminded me how strong I really am. I’m curious has anyone else done a solo trip while expecting or considered one? Would love to hear where you went or plan to go for that final pre-baby reset.

Traveling isn't a high priority for my husband, but I love it. I went on a solo honeymoon and had a blast, so I chose to go on a solo babymoon too.
