As a lifelong Disney fan who plans trips down to the minute and tears up at fireworks, it takes a lot for me to say never again to anything in the parks. But after years of magical vacations, there are definitely a handful of experiences I wouldn’t repeat not even for a Mickey pretzel. Mission: Space Orange Team? Absolutely not. One spin on that ride had me swearing off astronaut dreams forever. The Mad Tea Party is deceptively cute, but my stomach says otherwise. And while I love the magic of Tinker Bell flying during the fireworks, you couldn’t pay me to be the one on that zip line, dangling above thousands of people.
Then there are the things that just aren’t worth the stress. I’ll never argue with a Cast Member they’re the heart of the parks, and they’re doing their best. As much as I love Disney merch, I’m not standing in a four-hour line for a popcorn bucket or roasting in the sun to meet Goofy. And Tower of Terror? That one drop was more than enough adrenaline for me. Don’t get me wrong Disney is still my happy place, but some things are best left to the braver among us.
