Saw a rude comment earlier and just wanted to say this. English isn’t a given here. Yes, most Koreans study it for years and it’s common in business, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy or natural for everyone.
I live in Korea and rarely use English unless I’m talking to foreign partners or helping travelers. A lot of Koreans understand English pretty well but speaking it is tough, just like Korean is tough for most foreigners.
If you visit, try learning a few basic phrases or use a translation app. Locals really appreciate it when you make the effort. It shows respect and makes your experience so much better.
