I have an upcoming long-haul Alaska Airlines flight to London Heathrow and would appreciate some firsthand seat recommendations, since the seat maps online are not giving me enough detail.
I currently have Platinum status and am assigned to 33H in Premium Class. Normally, I prefer aisle seats because I like being able to get up easily without disturbing anyone. However, since this is an overnight flight, I am also considering a window seat so I can lean against the side of the aircraft and hopefully sleep a bit better.
I have been looking at 34A and 34J as alternatives and am wondering if either of those would be a better choice. I am also curious about the boarding and access situation. If I choose one of those seats, can I easily reach them through Row 33 or Row 34, or is there anything unusual about the cabin layout that I should know about?
For those who have flown this route or aircraft before, which seat would you choose and why?
