I had a stay booked at the new Hyatt Regency Rome from 4/17 to 4/20 and just found out it got canceled.
When I called before, they told me the hotel would open around 4/15/26 for guests who had already booked before they pushed the official opening to June 1. I was honestly kind of excited to be one of the first guests.
They did offer me an alternative and I am satisfied with it, just a little disappointed I will not get to try the hotel right when it opens. I am only Explorist, so not sure if status played any role in what options I got.
Curious if anyone else with bookings around that time had a similar experience or got something different.
