Had a tight 55-minute connection at SFO from PHL to NRT. Landed early, then sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes because the gate wasn’t right for our plane. Thought for sure we’d miss the Tokyo flight.
But the PHL crew helped us off first, we sprinted across the terminal, and the SFO gate agents actually held the flight for us. Crew greeted us with smiles and water when we boarded.
Woke up in Tokyo super thankful, United team absolutely nailed it this time.
