Trying to figure out what happens before Alaska’s new “choose how you earn status” system kicks in. The site just says it’s coming later in 2026.
I’ve got a BA SFO–LHR business class flight in February 2026, booked through Alaska. Did the same trip this year and got 250% status miles. But with the new changes coming, I can’t tell if that will still apply for early 2026 flights or not.
Anyone know if distance-based earning stays the same until the update officially launches?
