Flying to HNL in a few days and my carry on is about half an inch taller than the listed limit at 22 inches. I keep hearing airlines are getting stricter going into 2026, so now I’m second guessing it.
For anyone who’s flown Hawaiian recently, are they actually checking bag dimensions at the gate? Do they weigh carry ons too, or is that mostly for checked bags?
Trying to decide if I need to swap bags last minute or just roll with it.
