How risky is a 14-minute connection at Perth (Glasgow → Inverness)?

I’m planning my first trip to the UK and looking at a train itinerary from Glasgow to Inverness with a change at Perth.

The connection window at Perth is only 14 minutes.

How realistic is it to make this connection in practice? Is this a normal minimum connection time for UK rail, or is it basically asking for a missed connection if there is even a small delay?
