How often do room upgrades actually happen with Chase The Edit?

Curious what people’s real world experience has been booking hotels through Chase The Edit. How common are room upgrades in practice?

I’m heading to Vegas and debating between Caesars Palace (not The Edit) and Bellagio through The Edit. Caesars would get me a renovated room and still be cheaper than Bellagio, even after the $250 The Edit credit.

Are the The Edit perks actually worth going out of the way for, or are upgrades pretty hit or miss?
