For those who have accepted Royal Caribbean's voluntary rescheduling offer, how long did it take to hear back about whether your requested change was approved?
I submitted a request to reschedule my cruise, which is scheduled to depart in a week, but I didn't realize that the decision might not come quickly. At this point, our plans are flexible a week in advance, but finding out only a day or two before departure would create some challenges.
The notice says that if we haven't heard anything by June 18, we'll remain on our original sailing. The problem is that June 18 is the day before departure. Surely they don't usually wait until the last minute to notify people, right?
Edit: I did volunteer to reschedule and am still waiting for a response. I'm just curious how long it has typically taken others to receive an answer.
Update: Still no response. I called guest services, but they couldn't provide any additional information and said we may not know until the day before the cruise.
That honestly seems pretty frustrating. I didn't expect to be packing for a family of four without knowing whether we're actually sailing or being rescheduled. 😂
