I just pulled off one of my cheapest long-haul trips ever $260 from Orlando to Venice by mixing Norse Atlantic and easyJet. The Orlando–London leg on Norse was the real star. For $196, I got a Boeing 787 with comfy seats, personal entertainment screens, and charging ports. No free food, but I didn’t mind on an overnight flight. Even when my bag got lost during a Gatwick bomb scare, Norse’s customer service had it shipped to my house without fuss.
The $64 easyJet hop to Venice was a different story no frills, stiff seats, and no entertainment, but it was on time and cheap. All in all, I’d happily fly this route again, especially with Norse’s comfort for the price.
Would you trade some amenities for big savings on a transatlantic trip?
