Flying Lisbon (LIS) to JFK tomorrow, boarding at 9:05am and departing at 10:00am.
We’re two adults with US passports and no checked bags. I’ve heard mixed things about security and passport control at LIS, especially the exit immigration lines for US flights.
Would arriving 3 hours early (around 7am) be overkill, or is that about right for a morning transatlantic departure?
I’ve also heard to avoid going to the lounge before passport control because it can slow things down if the line gets long.
Curious what people’s recent experiences have been at LIS for US-bound flights.
