Flying TPE SFO ORD on one United ticket and was told I have to grab my checked bag in SFO and recheck it before heading to the ORD flight. My layover is only 1h15 and I’m stressing a bit.
Do I actually have to leave security, wait at baggage claim, then go back through security again? Or is there a streamlined drop area right after customs for same-ticket connections?
Trying to get a sense of how tight this really is.
