I’ve always been a cheapest hotel possible kind of person. As long as there’s a bed and the door locks, I’m happy.
For my honeymoon, though, I booked a very nice luxury hotel in Italy and I honestly don’t know how to make the most of it. When hotels cost $800+ a night, I can’t help wondering what you’re actually paying for beyond thread count and not being around the unwashed masses. Some of these places cost a month’s rent for one night.
Are there complimentary services or perks that people like me usually overlook? Things you’re supposed to take advantage of but wouldn’t even think to ask about?
I want to enjoy the good life for once and not feel like I’m wasting money because I don’t know how these places work. Any tips appreciated.
