Genuinely curious about this. I see so many people solo traveling for months at a time and I can’t quite wrap my head around how it’s financially possible.
I know budget airlines and hostels help, but even then it still adds up. What I’m especially wondering about is people who don’t have remote jobs. Are you saving aggressively for years? Quitting jobs and resetting? Working short term gigs in between?
This is something I’d love to do someday, so I’m trying to understand how people actually make it work in real life.
