My wife and I both earn well and do not have kids, so travel has always been a big part of our lifestyle. We typically take around three international trips each year, usually involving long-haul flights and week-long stays, along with several shorter domestic trips lasting a few days.
However, with travel costs climbing so much recently, we have had to cut our trips by about half this year. I realize this may come across as a privileged concern, but for us, traveling is a major way to recharge and make the demands of our careers feel worthwhile.
I’m curious how others are adjusting their travel habits in response to rising costs.
