I’m mid 20s and have to hoard PTO just to take one full week off. Meanwhile I see people spending 3–4 weeks in Thailand, Bali, Medellin and I’m like… how?
I get that some countries have better vacation policies, but I’m mostly talking about Americans. Are people quitting jobs? Remote working? Just way ahead financially?
Genuinely trying to understand how people are pulling off 20–30 day trips without blowing up their careers.
