On a work trip in Arizona, went back to my room and my key didn’t work. Front desk re-cut it, still nothing. Tried the app key said the room was locked from the inside. I’m traveling alone.
Turns out housekeeping was “cleaning” but they’d locked it, then left the door wide open when they were done. Anyone could’ve walked in and taken my stuff. Security and the manager came up with me, and yeah, door was just wide open.
They moved me to another room, but I honestly don’t feel safe staying here. Would you switch hotels after something like this?
