Booked a place called Zarax Homestay in Ooty for Dec 25 to 27. Paid about 3000 in advance through Booking.com. Just found out the property doesn’t even exist anymore and the listing is gone from the site.
Feels like we got straight up scammed. Has anyone dealt with this before? Since the payment was through Booking.com, is there any real chance of getting the money back or help finding another place this close to the dates?
